About our Music

The String Quartet music repertoire spans the centuries from baroque through classical to folk, jazz and light music of the present day. Whether it is background music for the wedding reception, music for the civil or church wedding ceremony, or music to listen to in a concert performance, you can rely on our experience to capture the mood. If the venue and weather permit the musicians can move outside into the gardens, engendering the mood of a bygone splendour.

We like to discuss the day with you in detail, helping you choose the music for the Wedding Ceremony and the atmosphere you would like to create during each part of your Wedding day. There are few right an wrongs in musical choice. Couples have made there exit from the Wedding Ceremony to music ranging from Handel to the Beatles. However, there are pieces of music that we know from experience will and won’t work in certain situations. So we can suggest and guide, to do all we can to make our music contribute to a perfect day.
